CHAMBER
MUSIC FESTIVAL OF
NEW ENGLAND

Chamber Music Foundation of New England aspires to bring together talented youth, emerging artists, as well as renowned performers and composers, both local and international, in a series of concerts of old and modern classics.  Our organization focuses on providing performance venues to the gifted young musicians to keep great performances alive.

The Chamber Music Festival of New England was created to provide young musicians with an opportunity to accelerate their artistic growth and to excel in their chamber musical skills by collaborating and performing together with professional musicians in a chamber music ensemble.

The Chamber Music Festival of New England is organized as a series of concerts in various Greater Boston venues.

Each concert of the festival includes a lecture presentation and a chamber music recital including performances by some of the best professional musicians from the greater Boston area. You can view the Chamber Music Festival concert schedule by choosing one of the links below:

Chamber Music Foundation of New England

 

announces its Fifth International Chamber Music Ensemble Competition

Sponsored by

New England Conservatory of Music Department of Continuing Education

 

The competition will take place in June of 2012 and is open to a wide range of chamber music groups.

Prizes include cash awards and professional appearances in several of New England's chamber music series.

Semi finals: June 9th 2012 at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, Massachusetts
This round is closed to the public.

Finals: June 10th 2012 at the Jordan Hall of the New England Conservatory of Music.
The final round is open to the public and admission is free.

Applicants must submit a live DVD recording of their ensemble's performance, entrance fee and a completed application form by March 1st, 2012.
