Elzbieta Brandys, flute, performed Beethoven's Serenade for flute, violin and viola in D major Opus 25 together with Lilia Muchnik, violin, and Rebecca Strauss, viola.

Sebastian Bäverstam, 15, a cello student at the New England Conservatory Preparatory School and a sophomore at Newton South was the winner of the Chamber Music Festival audition for Shostakovich Piano Trio.

He performed together with Ellina Blinder, piano, and Lilia Muchnik, violin. Sebastian currently studies cello with Ronald Feldman, Andrew Pearce and Nancy Hair.

David Ertel, cello, was the winner of the Chamber Music Festival audition for Ravel Piano Trio. Together with Ellina Blinder, piano, and Lilia Muchnik, violin, David performed on February 13, 2005 in a Chamber Music Festival concert dedicated to French Impressionism in Music and chamber music of Ravel. David is a senior at Lexington High School and a member of NEC Youth Symphony Orchestra.

Veronika Blinder, cello, performed Felix Mendelssohn's piano trio No. 2 in C Minor, Op. 66 together with Tanya Kodinsky, piano, and Arman Mourzagaliev, violin. Veronika was also the winner of the Chamber Music Festival audition for the Beethoven's Piano Trio in C Minor Opus 1 No. 3.Veronika performed on December 11, 2005 in a Chamber Music Festival concert dedicated to chamber music of Beethoven.

Veronika has also performed with GBYSO and NEC Youth Symphony Orchestras at the major Boston artistic venues including Symphony Hall and Jordan Hall.

Patrick McGuire, cello, was the winner of the Chamber Music Festival audition for Borodin String Quartet No. 2 in D Major. Patrick is a sophomore at Walnut Hill School in Natick, where he studies with Andrew Mark.

Patrick has played chamber music for several years under the leadership of Jody Harmon and most recently with Kate Kayaian, The T'Ang Quartet, and Laura Thielke at the Boston University Tanglewood Institute. Patrick is the Principal Cellist of GBYSO's Senior Orchestra, with which he has performed at such Boston venues as Symphony Hall, Jordan Hall and Sanders Theatre.
